Kærlighed og Penge na Bombuj. Karen has three tenacious suitors who woo her with great eagerness: lieutenant Schaleton, the poet Scherning and property owner Arnold. One day, her friend Ebba arrives from America, and friends and acquaintances are invited to a party.
